Ernest Dipzinski, age 90 of Lake Isabella, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, February 8th, at 11:00 am, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Remus, with Fr. Tom Boufford as Celebrant. A viewing will be held Sunday afternoon from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, at Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Remus, with a rosary service at 3:30 pm.
Ernest was born May 29, 1930 in Gaylord, Michigan, the son of Luis and Helen (Kozlowski) Dipzinski. He married his forever love, Marilyn, on November 3, 1956 and together the two grew their family to include seven children. When they retired, the two moved to Lake Isabella, after living in Davison and Mt. Morris for many years.
Ernest was a very social man who loved to golf and take care of his lawn. He was said to be a fussy dresser and would take longer to get ready for church than all of the girls in the house.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Beal City, and was always ready to help out with their chicken barbecue.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Ernest Paul Dipzinski; daughters, Pamela Dipzinski, Janet Cohron, Theresa (Alex) Gutierrez, Kaye Paladino and Beverly Benedict; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Ernest was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn; his parents; grandson, Max, and infant daughter, Karen.
Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to St. Michael Catholic Church. Envelopes will be available at the church.
